Wayne Resnick ‘Mostly Retiring’ From KFI

KFI AM-640 morning co-host Wayne Resnick has announced he is “mostly retiring” from the Los Angeles news/talk station.

Resnick has been alongside Bill Handel and Amy King in mornings, frequently serving as the main fill-in host when Handel was vacationing.

During the January 1st edition of The Bill Handel Show, Resnick hosted the program before noting he would not be back in to work on Tuesday.

“Bill Handel is back tomorrow. I am not. I am mostly retiring so I can do some other things,” revealed Resnick. “I will fill in when Bill is out on vacation…it is a joy to work with you guys. It is not a goodbye. I’m mostly retiring,” he reiterated.

Neil Saavedra joined the KFI morning program Tuesday, mentioning that the move to mornings was a full-circle moment for him as he began his radio career working as an intern for Bill Handel. He noted that he also met his current wife while interning for the venerable host.

  1. Lately I’d noticed Wayne was a bit more loose on discussing Musk and his anti-semitism, BH was crickets. Now I understand why.

  2. Wayne was the best part of the BH show.l can barely listen the that show anymore. I started listening when Handel took over the morning spot. He has changed do much. If anyone ever want back and listen to his old shows or remembers them, you know he would throw around the N work like nothing. Also had something racist to say about every race.
Was listening this morning and he was talking to Steve Gregory about a dog being killed by homeless. When Steve mentioned the suspect was black, Handle sounded like he wanted to delete that. I think he has turned very WOKE in order to keep his show going.
Plus he’s shown many times what a libtard AH he is.

  3. Wayne should be in the radio hall of fame. I had thought he was being groomed to take over the morning show. But perhaps Wayne was never totally comfortable in the limelight. Still, a legend. Whisper radio was brilliant.
