FOX Sports announces 56,691,000 viewers tuned in to see the San Francisco 49ers come from behind win over the Detroit Lions. The number projects to rank as FOX’s best NFC Championship Game since 2012 and the fourth most-watched non-Super Bowl telecast in network history.
Sunday’s game peaked with 58,967,000 viewers from 9:15-9:30 p.m. ET and the game was up 19 percent vs. last year’s NFC Championship Game. In comparison to the AFC Championship Game which aired in the same window a year ago, the projection is up 7 percent.

In the home markets, Detroit did a 46.3 rating and a 79 share. San Francisco had a 30.5 rating and a 78 share.
