Tony Katz: Fox News Out of Touch With Reporting on Northeast Snowstorm

A large snowstorm blew through the Northeast on Monday and Tuesday, with some locations receiving as much as 15 inches of snow. Fox News discussed the weather event extensively, which didn’t impress 93 WIBC host Tony Katz.

In a post to X, Katz — who is based in Indianapolis — joked that while he’s a fan of the network, the coverage was overblown to an overwhelming majority of its viewers.

“Dear (Fox News). We like you, but we don’t care about you getting some snow. Or a lot of snow. We get snow. Lots of snow. You don’t report on it like this,” Katz wrote. “Let’s get back to news and culture. Sincerely, The MidWest (and, your viewers.)”

The nor’easter was one of the top stories on America Reports as New York City experienced heavy snowfall. The weather also had an effect on the guestlist for the conservative cable news network. 680 WCBM host Kimberly Klacik was scheduled to appear on the network to discuss her bid for the 2nd Congressional District in Maryland but was canceled due to the weather.
