Underdog Fantasy Adds Jay Gruden for NFL Draft Coverage

Former Washington Commanders head coach Jay Gruden has been added to the roster at Underdog Fantasy as an NFL Draft analyst. Gruden posted to his X account saying, “My man, Texas Legend [Colt McCoy] convinced me to get off the course and get back to work. I’m joining [Underdog Fantasy] to breakdown the top QB and WR prospects in this year’s draft. Gonna be fun!”

Gruden was head coach of the Commanders from 2014-2019 before serving as the Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator in 2020 and as an offensive consultant for the Los Angeles Rams in 2022.

A former quarterback, Gruden played college football at Louisville in the mid to late 80’s and threw for over 7,000 yards. He played professionally in Spain and Scotland for a couple of years before moving to the Arena Football League. In 2006, he was ranked fourth on the AFL’s list of greatest players.

In the preview clip Gruden posted, he said about NFL coaches and the NFL Draft, “You gotta be right. If you’re not right, you’ll be talking on Underdog.”
