As the 2024 Republican National Convention approaches, many news organizations are announcing their coverage plans. NewsNation is no different.
The upstart cable news network will begin its coverage on Sunday as Chief Washington Anchor Leland Vittert will host a special edition of The Hill Sunday from 10-11 AM ET from Milwaukee.
NewsNation will also provide special coverage on Wednesday, July 17th, and Thursday, July 18th. The coverage — dubbed Decision Desk 2024: The Republican National Convention — will feature hosts Chris Cuomo, Elizabeth Vargas, Dan Abrams, and Vittert. An additional panel of contributors and analysts will provide commentary from both Washington D.C. and Milwaukee, featuring hosts like Chris Stirewalt and Blake Burman.
Correspondents Joe Khalil and Robert Sherman will report from the convention floor, while campaign embeds Jackie Koppel and Libby Dean will report live throughout the convention for the network.
Kellie Meyer and Brooke Shafer will cover President Biden’s campaign during his travels through the opposition’s convention.
