Conservative digital pundit Steven Crowder returned to YouTube Monday after serving a weeklong suspension from the Google-owned platform.
To begin his Louder with Crowder program Monday morning, facetiously apologized for the incident that left him with a ban from the digital video service.
“In serving my suspension last week, and now being back on YouTube, I would actually like to take this moment to thank YouTube for granting me another chance and time for self-reflection, contemplation, and ultimately self-improvement,” Crowder said, sarcastically. “YouTube, genuinely, thank you. I also want to take this opportunity to apologize for my actions and poor choice of words in relation to Vice President Kamala Harris. They were both in poor time and in poor taste.
“Most importantly, I was simply flat-out wrong. It is wrong to denigrate any of our distinguished elected officials. As respect for authority, our political leaders are both essential to democracy and can be argued the bedrock of our constitutional republic. I had no right to refer to or insinuate that any presidential candidate was a ‘lying (expletive)’, and to flat-out say it was morally reprehensible, perhaps bordering on treason.”
While he was temporarily banned from YouTube, he continued to host his program on Rumble. Originally, Steven Crowder had claimed he had been banned by the platform until after the 2024 election. However, the suspension was only enacted for seven days.
