ESPN LA 710 has reason to celebrate as the Good Karma Brands station has eclipsed 1 million social media followers across a plethora of platforms.
According to the outlet, across Instagram, Threads, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch, more than one million followers keep up with the latest happenings on the Los Angeles sports station. The station asserts it is the only sports radio brand in America to accomplish the feat.
As part of its announcement, the station partnered with wine brand Stella Rosa to feature an MLB Postseason-style celebration of popping bottles of bubbly inside a room at the ESPN LA 710 studios, as station personnel wore ponchos and safety glasses.
In an on-air discussion, hosts wondered if the recent viral video of the station experiencing an earthquake live during its midday show led to the 1 million subscriber mark. However, Chris Morales noted that “We had already hit it, quite frankly. We just waited until to celebrate it,” while laughing.
ESPN LA 710 Digital Content Manager Karlo Sy Su took to X to celebrate the brand’s success. He shared “It was tough to get to this point but it would’ve been impossible without the best fans. Not easy at all, but proud of our work.”
