Audacy has promoted Ralph Cipolla to VP/Programming Analytics and Research. Cipolla joined the company’s programming team in August 2021 as Director of Programming Insights.
In addition to operating his Cipolla Analytics, Cipolla previously served as Cumulus Media/Westwood One VP/ Programming Strategy & Analytics, leaving in 2020. He spent a decade with Jacobs Media as a strategic consultant and a radio career that included stops at WCSX/Detroit, WFYV/Jacksonville and WUFX/Buffalo.
In announcing the move to staff, Jeff Sottolano, the Chief Programming Officer, wrote that Cipolla “has been instrumental in elevating our capabilities and ensuring the science component of the delicate marriage of art plus science is well represented in all of our content decisions.”
