The lineup shuffle continues at Cox Media Group’s Top 40 WBLI (106.1 BLI)/Long Island.
Following this week’s announcement that Ally Ali will do double drive time covering both AM and PM drive (BMM 8/27), the station has announced that Production Manager Victoria ‘Tory’ Onorato will take over middays from 10 am to 3 pm. Cat Sodano will move from traffic reporter and weekend/fill-in host to evenings.
Onorato takes over for Al Levine, who exited in June as part of company layoffs. She recently had filled in on afternoons since Kiana Singh’s move to iHeartMedia’s Top 40 WHTZ (Z100)/New York.
Sodano commented, “Growing up, 10-year-old Catherine would call into this very station absolutely begging the on-air personalities for *NSYNC tickets (obvi), going to every single Summer Jam concert at Jones Beach. From interning here to now, it’s been a ride! And we’re just getting started! Not everyone gets to live their dream, and I am wholeheartedly grateful for this opportunity. Hopefully, I will bring you, our incredible listeners, the same joy and excitement I experienced.”
