The Ravens will seek to qualify for the NFL Playoffs in a third consecutive season following a year in which the team lost the AFC Championship Game to the Kansas City Chiefs. Quarterback Lamar Jackson won the second AP NFL Most Valuable Player award of his career, passing for 3,678 yards in the regular season on 8.0 yards per attempt, throwing 24 touchdown passes and rushing 821 yards on 148 carries. With the selection, Jackson became the youngest two-time MVP since the 1970 merger and fell one vote short of a unanimous selection.
