SiriusXM has announced the addition of a new political program, Young American with Dylan Douglas, for a weekend show until the 2024 presidential election.
Beginning on Saturday, September 14th, Douglas will host a Gen Z-focused show on Saturdays at 11 AM ET on SiriusXM Progress, which is channel 127 on the satellite radio service.
“It’s been a wild ride the last couple of years. From the start of forever wars, the first Black president, culture wars, and now a second chance at a first female president, my generation has lived through some of the most transformative and tumultuous times in our history; and it’s only gonna get crazier,” said Douglas. “I wanna take you through it. On my show, I won’t just talk you through the news of the day – I’ll underscore the larger issues spinning our country out of control.”
Dylan Douglas, the son of Academy Award-winning actors Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, is a 2022 graduate of Brown University. According to SiriusXM, he’s hosting the show “because he feels strongly that his generation needs to play a more active and integral role in shaping the future of the country.”
Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA), gun control activist David Hogg, and North Carolina Democratic Party Chair Anderson Clayton are all confirmed guests of Douglas’ new weekend program.
