Bloomberg Radio will cease airing on 960 KNEW in the Bay Area at the end of the month after the company failed to reach an agreement with iHeartMedia to keep the local marketing agreement going.
The company’s agreement with iHeartMedia ends on September 30th after Bloomberg’s 10-year contract it signed with the radio giant in 2014 concludes.

On 960 KNEW, Bloomberg is running messages to listeners to download the outlet’s app to continue listening after that September 30th date.
With the end of the agreement in the Bay Area, Bloomberg Radio will now focus its content toward its northeast audiences in New York, Boston, other Massachusetts markets, and in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore areas.
