Triton Digital has unveiled its podcast rankings for August and familiar names like Dan Bongino, Megyn Kelly, and programs from NPR remain in the top 10 places.
Two shows from NPR — NPR News Now and Up First — took the top places on the ranking. Crime Junkie was up one position to third, while Dateline NBC and The Dan Bongino Show rounded out the top five.
Wondery’s Morbid was sixth, while Pod Save America (7th) and Stuff You Should Know (8th) swapped places in August. SmartLess was ninth while The Megyn Kelly Show was 10th.
Several news adjacent shows made large jumps throughout the August podcast rankings by Weekly Average Downloads.
Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me from NPR was up six spots to 18th, while The Daily Show: Ears Edition was up seven positions to 24th. Bongino Report Early Edition with Evita moved up eight positions to 57th, as Morning Joe from MSNBC rose 17 spots to 71st. Finally, The Joe Pags Show made its debut in the top 150, finishing 145th.
The Charlie Kirk Show from Salem Media Group remained in 14th place, while The NPR Politics Podcast stayed in 15th. The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show dropped three places to finish 22nd, while The Mark Levin Show was down five spots to 30th. Armstrong & Getty were also down four places to 41st, while The Sean Hannity Show moved up one spot to 44th overall.
