Wade Linder has stepped down as the PD of Cumulus Media’s Classic Rock KQRS/Minneapolis, a role he has held since June 2023. In addition to his PD duties, Linder also handled special projects for Cumulus Media’s Corporate Programming team. Before this, he served as the company’s VP of Classic Rock.
Linder, a seasoned programming veteran, previously served as PD for the Classic Hits WLS-FM/Chicago, overseeing the cluster as OM. Before that, he was PD of the former Classic Rock WLUP-FM (The Loop). Linder began his career in 1986 at KQDS/Duluth, arrived at KQRS in 1990, and spent nearly two decades programming the Rock sister KXXR (93X)/ Minneapolis.
