FOX Sports Launches New Original Podcast Series: ‘Tom Rinaldi Presents: Sacred Acre’

This is the second chapter of the Tom Rinaldi Presents podcast series.

FOX Sports has announced the release of a new season of the original podcast series, Tom Rinaldi Presents: Sacred Acre. The show’s first two episodes are now available on all major podcast platforms. Tom Rinaldi, the Emmy-winning storyteller, tells the story of Ed Thomas, one of America’s most esteemed high school football coaches, who was tragically murdered by a former player in 2009.

The series will be six episodes in total, and the remaining four episodes will release each Thursday with the final episode dropping on October 17.

FOX Sports said the podcast, “explores Thomas’ extraordinary journey and tragic death – from building a tiny team in Parkersburg, Iowa into a state powerhouse and being named the NFL High School Coach of the Year along the way, to his pivotal role in rebuilding the small town after it was demolished by one of the deadliest tornadoes in state history. Thomas was a beloved member of the community until his untimely death.
