Newsmax has announced it has been added to the channel offerings available on streaming provider YouTube TV.
The conservative cable channel joins the base package offered to subscribers from the Google-owned platform.
While the network was already offered to subscribers of cable providers like Directv, Xfinity, Dish, Spectrum, Cox, and Optimum, the addition of YouTube TV will now place Newsmax in more than 60 million American homes.
YouTube TV is the fourth largest television provider in the country and features content from more than 100 network, cable, and regional sports channels.
The distribution on YouTube TV also now provides Newsmax to users wishing to watch the network on smartphones, tablets, and computers in addition to televisions and streaming devices.
The addition of YouTube TV comes at a time when Newsmax is relaunching its primetime lineup. The network moved morning show co-host Rob Finnerty to 8 PM ET after Rob Schmitt Tonight at 7 PM ET and Greg Kelly Reports at 9 PM ET. It also features Chris Plante The Right Squad at 10 PM ET.
