Jacobs Media has announced the addition of a second tour for broadcasters at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The response to the initial announcement has been very positive.
Jacobs has received confirmations from broadcasters across the spectrum, including commercial managers from large and small markets and executives from public and Christian radio.
Fred and Paul Jacobs, in a joint statement, said, “Our focus this year at CES 2025 will be different than in past years. Given the explosion of AI, we are going to explore the various applications all types of companies are innovating, with an obvious focus on its implications and effect on broadcasting.”
Jacobs Media President Fred Jacobs added, “Each year at CES we see amazing new technology that will impact broadcasters today and in the future. This year’s mind-blowing innovation is Sphere, where media meets technology. We are excited to announce our tour guests will be among the first to experience a presentation of ‘Postcard From Earth’ and enjoy a totally new entertainment platform.”
Jacobs Media’s VP/GM Paul Jacobs added, “CES is one of the only ways to experience the trends and concepts that impact all of us, personally and professionally. We first visited CES in 2009, and in 2017, we began offering broadcasters that chance to participate in these curated tours. This is an inspiring way to kick off the new year, and we are excited to see what’s next.”
At the custom-made CES tours, radio broadcasters can immerse themselves in a carefully curated experience that delves into the current and future impacts of media and technologies on their industry.
Tour attendees receive exclusive access to the exhibits, allowing them to bypass the lines and engage directly with industry leaders from companies like Google, Amazon Alexa, major automakers, and pioneering technology firms leveraging AI and other cutting-edge innovations.
CES 2025 is scheduled from Tuesday, January 9 to Friday, January 12, in Las Vegas.
