Charlamagne Tha God, co-host of the Premiere Networks-syndicated “The Breakfast Club,” is set to host a Town Hall with Vice President Kamala Harris next Tuesday in Detroit.
The upcoming event “We The People: A Conversation with Kamala Harris and Charlamagne Tha God” is set to take place at 5pm (ET) on Oct. 15.
“I’m going to have a conversation with the Vice President live on iHeartRadio,” Charlamagne said when announcing the event on Friday’s “Breakfast Club” morning show. “I want local voices from Detroit and voices from all of the battleground states to get the opportunity to ask Vice President Kamala Harris some questions.”
Charlamagne said questions can be submitted through the “Talk Back” feature on the iHeartRadio app. The special event will be broadcast nationwide to all “The Breakfast Club” affiliates.
“The Breakfast Club is familiar ground to candidates. Hillary Clinton appeared in 2016 and Biden in 2020 before the election. Harris appeared in 2019 while seeking the Democratic Presidential Nomination.
Vice President Harris had previously appeared on Charlamagne’s Comedy Central show in 2021 after President Biden’s inauguration. However, things became heated during the interview when Charlamagne insinuated that Harris was the “real president.”
