Julian Edelman has previously said former New England Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski would never be a co-host of his Games with Names podcast. He has now revealed its because they’re teaming up for a new podcast called Dudes on Dudes.
On Monday, the former teammates announced they’re reuniting for a new podcast centered upon former NFL players.
“Guess what, folks? We’re teammates again,” Edelman said in the show’s announcement. “We’re gonna welcome you all to Dudes on Dudes. That sounds a little weird, but that’s what this is gonna be.”
“I’m a dude, you’re a dude, and Dudes on Dudes is our brand-new show. We’re gonna see who the ultimate dude really is,” said Gronkowski.
“The premise of this show is, we’re gonna highlight players, peers, guys we played against, legends from the past, and we’re just gonna sit here and talk about them,” Edelman continued. “We’re gonna get into the types of dudes.”
Promotional materials for the show reveal new episodes will be released weekly on Thursdays throughout the NFL season.
