Denver’s most listened to radio station is bringing back its’ annual non-stop Christmas music programming. KOSI 101.1 made the announcement Thursday afternoon, assuring holiday music would occupy its airwaves starting Thursday November 14th at 5pm MT.
KOSI will kick off the Christmas music flip with a LIVE broadcast at Cherry Creek North. The station will be at Moxy Denver Cherry Creek, 240 Josephine Street from 4pm-6pm. Santa will make a visit, and additional family fun is planned for the event.
“Once again we will launch into Christmas music outdoors live at Cherry Creek North,” said Jim Lawson, Program
Director. “Everyone who came out had such a good time last year we knew we had to do it there again this year” added
Lawson.
The upcoming flip marks 23 years of featuring holiday music on Denver’s popular AC outlet. Listeners will be treated to classic holiday songs from Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Gene Autry, as well as contemporary hits from Josh Groban, Maria Carey, Michael Buble and Carrie Underwood.
