The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has named Sean Perkins its new chief marketing officer and senior vice president for Global Connections and Events (GCE). In this role, Perkins will guide and oversee all marketing efforts for two of NAB‘s most prestigious events – the highly-anticipated NAB Show and NAB Show New York. Perkins will report directly to Karen Chupka, managing director and executive vice president of GCE.
Perkins brings over 30 years of expertise in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing sectors. His resume includes time spent in media, technology, digital commerce, and nonprofit organizations. Throughout his career, he has spearheaded successful marketing campaigns for notable brands such as AOL, Amtrak, AARP, Intel, Sage, Neustar, and the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). Most recently, he served as VP of Marketing at CTA where he oversaw marketing and advertising decisions for CES – the association’s annual trade event that draws global attention.

Perkins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Canisius University. He is also an active member of various professional organizations within the marketing industry.
