Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW) is excited to announce the launch of the Erica Farber Mentorship in Management program.
Previously known as the Mildred Carter Mentorship, this initiative aims to empower women in senior leadership roles across various sectors of the radio industry, including sales, marketing, programming, and digital.
This prestigious mentorship presents a significant opportunity for participants to advance their careers and enhance their leadership skills.
“The Erica Farber Mentorship in Management program is a recognition of the decades of leadership, passion, and vision that Erica has brought to the industry as a whole and to so many of us as a valued mentor and friend,” said Ruth Presslaff, MIW Board President. “Her shining example is the measure we want to set for the next generation of women.”
“It’s an honor to be recognized in this way, especially as mentoring is so near and dear to my heart,” Farber remarked. “Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible potential that women bring to every area of radio, from creative to corporate leadership. I’m thrilled that this mentorship program will provide the next generation of women with resources, insights, and encouragement to lead with confidence and vision, helping them make a lasting impact in our industry.”
The application window for the 2024-2025 mentorship program has officially opened. Candidates within the radio broadcasting industry are encouraged to submit their applications by Friday, November 22.
For complete criteria and application guidelines for mentees, please refer to the MIW website.
Those selected as finalists will be contacted for a virtual interview on Monday, December 9.
