Brad Schmidt has announced he has exited Cumulus Media Little Rock news/talk station 102.9 KARN News Radio.
Schmidt joined the station in January 2022 after a seven-year stint hosting afternoons at 1310 KNOX in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
The Schmidt Show was heard from 2-6 PM on the Little Rock news/talk station. With his departure, the only local weekday programming on the station is the morning show hosted by Program Director Toby Howell.
In a post to social media, Brad Schmidt shared the news of his exit.
“I’m disappointed to report that #TheSchmidtShow will no longer be airing on #NewsRadio1029 in Little Rock, AR,” he wrote.
When a listener asked what happened, he replied “It’s just how the industry goes some times. Budgets and such.”
