Laura Dickerson has been named Assistant Program Director and midday host at Cumulus Media’s Top 40, Q99.7 (WWWQ), Atlanta.
Dickerson moves from Houston, where she has served as Music Director and night host at 104.1 KRBE since March 2022, and will continue tracking nights.
She said, “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to challenge myself in a new role, in a career I have loved for the last 15 years, AND I still get to work alongside my radio partner in crime and mentor, Leslie Whittle! Truly a dream come true!”
She first joined the Houston radio market in 2017 as the midday host for Radio One’s Top 40 “Radio Now 92.1” KROI. Rising to Music Director in 2019, she held that position until the station transitioned to a Gospel format in 2021.
Following the format change, she became a weekend host at KRBE. Dickerson began her career in her hometown, Boston, at Top 40 “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM and later spent four years at “Hot 97.5/103.9” KMVA/KZON in Phoenix.
