"Udonis has done it with intelligence, charisma, and flair. And he's funny too!"

ESPN has confirmed to Barrett Media a report from Front Office Sports saying Udonis Haslem has been added as a full-time member of the network’s NBA coverage. Haslem is expected to appear on NBA Today as well as First Take, Get Up and SportsCenter.

Haslem has been making appearances on ESPN for the last several weeks. Last season, when Haslem took part in programming during the 2024 NBA playoffs, Magic Johnson tweeted out. “ESPN – You definitely have an excellent team of ex-players already with Kendrick Perkins, Jay Williams, Tim Legler, and JJ Reddick…but you should hire Udonis Haslem permanently! He’s been spectacular breaking down the NBA playoffs – from the players’ game and mentality, to the x’s and o’s, as well as the philosophy of the game…Udonis has done it with intelligence, charisma, and flair. And he’s funny too!”

In 2023, the Heat hired Haslem as their Vice President of Basketball Development and he started making media appearances in 2024.
