Hubbard Radio has announced the creation and launch of the Gamut Podcast Network. The new network will be a dedicated podcast division aimed at being the third foundational pillar of Hubbard’s enterprise.
“The launch of Gamut is more than a rebrand; it’s a pivotal evolution for our company,” said Hubbard Radio CEO Ginny Hubbard. “By establishing Gamut as a core component of our business, we are embracing the future of media and ensuring Hubbard’s relevance for the next century.”
The network will be led by Gamut Podcast Network Vice President and General Manager John Goforth. Goforth joined the company in August last year. He’ll team with Hubbard Radio Vice President of Podcast Operations Jeremy Sinon to centralize collection of initiatives for the unified network as part of the ongoing operations of the division.
“Gamut is designed to reflect both where the industry is and where it’s going,” said Goforth. “Yes, we’re building a national powerhouse—but we’re just as focused on lifting up unique voices and staying true to the communities we serve. It’s about reach and relevance. That balance is what makes Hubbard special, and it will make Gamut special too.”
“It’s exciting to see us take the next step in our podcast evolution,” Sinon added. “Over the years, we’ve had several successful podcast launches come from our markets — from SKOR North and Garage Logic to the American Nightmare Series, UAP: Unidentified Alien Podcast, and beyond. We now get to take that momentum and use it to propel us to a full-fledged national network.”
Gamut’s initial focus will be on high-growth content categories, which include technology, music history, sports, and true crime, among other genres. One of the first partnerships is a multi-year contract with Professor of Rock. That deal will bring the popular internet music historian’s content to podcast platforms for the first time.
