The Joe Rogan Experience Maintains Top Finish in 2025’s 1st Quarter Edison Research Podcast Rankings

Edison Research has unveiled its podcast rankings for the first quarter of 2025, and to little surprise, The Joe Rogan Experience remained in the top spot of the rankings.

During the first three months of 2025, The Joe Rogan Experience held onto the top spot in the list of podcasts with the largest weekly audience, according to Edison Research.

Joining the program in the top five were Crime Junkie, The Daily, Call Her Daddy, and This Past Weekend with Theo Von. Additionally, Dateline NBC was sixth, with those shows staying in the exact same order from the 2024 fourth quarter rankings.

The first change compared to the previous quarter’s rankings was This American Life rose eight places to seventh. Rotten Mango — the new podcast hosted by former YouTuber Stephanie Soo — rose four positions to finish eighth after joining the SiriusXM Podcast Network.

Other shows of note garnering top 50 positions in the rankings from Edison Research include New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce (10th), Pod Save America (11th), The Mel Robbins Podcast (15th), The Tucker Carlson Show (19th), The Ramsey Show (20th), The Dan Bongino Show (20th), The Ben Shapiro Show (22nd), The Megyn Kelly Show (23rd), Up First from NPR (26th), Shawn Ryan Show (29th), Candace from Candace Owens (39th), and Pardon My Take (49th).

According to the company, the data is collected by interviewing more than 5,000 weekly podcast consumers aged 13 and up.
