In 1992, the late Terry Dorsey was teamed with Mark “Hawkeye” Louis at 96.3 KSCS Dallas/Ft. Worth for mornings.
“Hawkeye” today is hosting mornings with Michelle Rodriguez as “Hawkeye & Michelle.”
In a feature story published by Barrett Media, “Hawkeye” said, “It’s very hard to replace Terry Dorsey. He taught me everything I needed to know.” (BMM 3/26)
Dorsey joined KSCS in 1988, arriving from mornings crosstown at KPLX 99.5. He retired in December of 2014. Dorsey passed away three months later.
Dorsey was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2013. In the aircheck, Dorsey seamlessly transitions from a lengthy station promo, including a clunky disclaimer to callers, to a bit called “Make Paul Laugh.”
Here’s Terry Dorsey & Hawkeye from 1992, 96.3 KSCS.
