Bob Lawrence, General Manager/Market Manager for Seven Mountains Media in Parkersburg, WV, is leaving the cluster to pursue another opportunity.
Lawrence, also a contributor to Barrett Media, made the announcement on his Facebook page.

“I got my start on the air here at WXIL many years ago, and I was honored to come back decades later to lead this wonderful team of people dedicated to serving the community. My last day here at these six great radio/digital properties will be this Friday, May 16th, as I’ll be headed to another great city for another truly iconic owner and company. Look for that announcement very soon. Thank you, Mid-Ohio Valley, for a wonderful time in this terrific town.”
Lawrence joined Seven Mountains in May 2024, arriving from the Radio Advertising Bureau’s National Radio Talent System, where he served as General Manager. Lawrence also spent five years as Corporate Vice President of Programming/Content for Saga Communications.
His 40-year career included time on air in Philadelphia, San Diego, and San Francisco. He also programmed KHTR St. Louis, KITS Hot Hits and KIOI (K101) San Francisco.
