Fox Corporation has announced the launch of FOX One, a new direct-to-consumer streaming service that will bring together the company’s full slate of news, sports and entertainment brands under one platform. The company made the announcement Monday morning ahead of upfront week this week.
According to a release, audiences who have cut the cord—or never had one—will have access to live and on-demand content from across FOX’s portfolio for the first time ever. That includes FOX News, FOX Business, FOX Weather, FOX Sports, FS1, FS2, BTN, FOX Deportes, local FOX stations and the flagship FOX network. Viewers will also have the option to bundle FOX Nation within the same platform.
“We know that FOX has the most loyal and engaged audiences in the industry, and FOX One is designed to reach outside of the pay-TV bundle and deliver all the best FOX branded content directly to viewers wherever they are,” said Pete Distad, CEO of FOX One.
Moreover, FOX One will feature advanced personalization tools that adapt to users’ viewing habits. The platform will integrate live and on-demand video seamlessly, offering a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
“We have built this platform from the ground up to allow consumers to enjoy and engage with our programming in new and exciting ways,” said Distad. “Leveraging cutting edge technology to enhance the user experience across the platform.”
FOX One is expected to launch this fall, just in time for the start of the NFL and college football seasons.
