Radio.Cloud has unveiled another AI-driven research and content creation innovation called Assistant AI.
The new AI feature is fully integrated into the company’s Smart Playlist feature, which allows hosts to select a talk break slot, show them content to prepare, and how much content is needed in the upcoming segment.
“This Assistant is more than a tool — it’s a glimpse into the future of radio,” said Radio.Cloud Product Lead of AI Jott Lischka. “We’re not replacing creativity, we’re unleashing it.”
“You have to keep in mind that voice generation is such a small part of AI’s capabilities,” added Radio.Cloud Account Director Andrew Scaglione.“Our latest AI innovation is the perfect hybrid use for artificial intelligence, giving stations the ability to split the difference between a traditional prep service and a fully AI voice-tracked station.”
Radio hosts are able to select voice tracks or live talk breaks — as well as social media and blog posts — with live interaction from the AI chatbot to help craft content needed during their shifts.
Early projections from the company believe that it can improve efficiency by more than five times the current rate to produce content.
