Versant CEO Mark Lazarus to Earn 2026 Golden Mic Award From BFOA

The Broadcasters Foundation of America has announced it will honor Versant CEO Mark Lazarus with its 2026 Golden Mic Award.

The BFOA Golden Mic Award is presented annually to an individual for their excellence in and commitment to broadcasting, and their ongoing service to the community at large.

“I am deeply honored to receive the Golden Mic Award from the Broadcasters Foundation of America, an organization that stands at the heart of our industry’s values – service, compassion, and community,” said Lazarus. “Broadcasting has always been about connecting people, and the Foundation’s work reminds us of the profound responsibility and privilege we have to support one another, especially in times of need.”

“A trailblazer in broadcasting, Mark is a highly respected television executive known for his leadership and ability to carve out innovative paths to success, including forming strong bonds with partners,” added Broadcasters Foundation Chair Scott Herman. “We are delighted to recognize his many contributions to broadcasting with the 2026 Golden Mic Award.”

The Versant CEO will be given the award on at the foundation’s 2026 Gala, scheduled for Monday, March 9th at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
