The Foul Territory Network has announced a new program with Jim Bowden is joining its growing roster of programs.
GM Territory will be hosted by Bowden and his son, Trey, who played Division I college baseball. The show will focus on trades, the MLB Draft, scouting, analytics, player development, the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and insider information and news from each MLB team.
Bowden spent 16 years as an MLB general manager, leading efforts for both the Cincinnati Reds and Washington Nationals during his career. He has also worked for SiriusXM’s MLB Network Radio as a host, as well as an analyst and insider for ESPN and ESPN Radio.
”We are really excited to join the Foul Territory Network with a program designed solely from the lens of the GM and front offices with an unfiltered approach,” said Bowden. “Sometimes those viewpoints are unpopular, sometimes controversial but always filled with strong opinions to think about. I’ve really enjoyed my role as the resident GM of Foul Territory and I’m glad I now will have the opportunity to expand it regularly with our show.
“There are only three people that have full access to all the information and opinions of an organization – the owner, the president and the GM,” continued Bowden. “With our tight relationships with all thirty front offices, we can bring that insight directly to you.”
The first episode of GM Territory was released on Tuesday.
