After being attacked by President Donald Trump in a Truth Social post, Fox News host Jessica Tarlov says she isn’t bothered by the criticism.
While appearing on Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla last week, Tarlov was asked about the situation. She said she appreciated the caveat Trump gave her when he appeared on The Five while she was absent, but knew it wouldn’t last.
“It’s interesting, because when he went after me, when he called into The Five, and I wasn’t on, he sprinkled the vitriol with, ‘I’m sure she’s a lovely person.’ So I was like, ‘ok, there’s a little opening here,'” she said, adding, “‘Maybe we’re not at complete armageddon.’
“And then I see the (Truth Social) post this week that’s like, ‘Just fire that b word, who hasn’t even been on my television screen in days.’ So I think that it’s over. There are no fences to be mended. Not that I was trying to.”
When Failla asked if Jessica Tarlov expected Donald Trump to appear on her podcast, she shot it down quickly.
“I don’t think he’s coming on the pod,” she said with a laugh. “I also, I’m not sure how everyone has his number. And these reporters — no matter what they say about him — can call him anytime. And he’ll just shoot the breeze with you. Not even sure that if Jesse (Watters) shared the digits, and I called, that it would go well for anybody.”
