What Remains Unclear: Radio One Dallas hasn’t detailed whether the changes will impact additional programming, staffing, or other dayparts across the cluster. The company also hasn’t provided specific details about when the new 105.7 RNB music strategy will take effect.

What It Means: The moves give Radio One Dallas a more defined identity across its three Dallas-Fort Worth brands. In particular, Smiley’s return gives 97.9 The Beat a familiar name for mornings, while 105.7 RNB gets a refreshed musical direction. Meanwhile, K104 retains several established personalities as the cluster adjusts its programming strategy.
