Cox Media Group has named Phil Becker VP of Audience & Content Growth. He starts July 20 in a newly created role.

What We Know: Becker will lead CMG Radio’s audience growth strategy across broadcast, streaming, podcasting, social media, and emerging platforms. He’ll work closely with programming leaders and market managers. His focus includes expanding reach, strengthening content performance, and elevating on-air talent. Notably, Becker has served as a weekly columnist for Barrett Media since October 2025, with his final column set to appear on the site this Wednesday.
