Craig Carton Bringing “The Craig Carton Show” to Outkick

"I’m beyond thrilled to be joining OutKick. I’ve always been a fan and appreciate their authenticity and willingness to speak their minds. It’s something I’ve done throughout my career and will do during this next chapter of hosting The Craig Carton Show."

Date:

Craig Carton is heading to OutKick. The veteran sports radio host will launch a new show this September.

What We Know: OutKick signed Craig Carton to host The Craig Carton Show, debuting September 8. New episodes will air Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Carton previously spent a decade co-hosting Boomer & Carton on WFAN. He currently hosts afternoon drive on WFAN alongside Chris McMonigle. Most recently, he hosted a Fox Sports and Red Seat Ventures podcast also titled The Craig Carton Show that was distributed via SportsGrid. The debut of The Craig Carton Show will coincide with OutKick integrating as the official sports brand of FOX News Digital on August 24. OutKick is undergoing a brand refresh with a new logo and tagline, “Where Sports and Culture Collide.”

What They Said: Craig Carton: “I’m beyond thrilled to be joining OutKick. I’ve always been a fan and appreciate their authenticity and willingness to speak their minds. It’s something I’ve done throughout my career and will do during this next chapter of hosting The Craig Carton Show.”

FOX News Digital’s Editorial Executive Vice President Tommy Firth: “This is a pivotal moment for OutKick as the integration with FOX News Digital will expand its reach and influence throughout sports media. Craig Carton’s distinctive voice will resonate with our audience and seamlessly meets this moment for OutKick.”

What Remains Unclear: OutKick hasn’t detailed how Carton’s show will fit alongside its other fall launches. Whether or not Tyrone Johnson will remain as The Craig Carton Show co-host on OutKick if undetermined.

What It Means: Carton’s arrival signals OutKick’s push to deepen its FOX News Digital ties ahead of the August 24 integration. Following the exit of Clay Travis earlier this year, OutKick has now secured a new star to the platform that will drive attention across the industry. Consequently, the platform is betting on star power and expansion simultaneously. Moreover, with football season around the corner, OutKick appears to be scaling fast heading into fall.
