Jon Gosselin of “Jon & Kate Plus Eight” fame is entering the Philadelphia sports radio scene. The former reality television star will co-host a local one-hour show on Monday night on 610AM WTEL alongside Rob Maaddi. The show will air 7p-8p ET.
Maaddi, who doubles as a sports reporter for the Associated Press, reached out to Gosselin and invited him to appear on the air with him after seeing him get criticized for working as a chef.
“I thought it was ridiculous that he got ripped for having a part-time job,” Maaddi said. “So I wanted to give him a chance to tell his story on my show.”
Maaddi started hosting the weekly program on WTEL in June and says that he and Gosselin have a lot in common. Aside from their love for sports, the two men also have twin daughters. Gosselin though says that he hasn’t had much contact with them due to certain factors.
