Co-creator and former director of “The Paul Finebaum Radio Network,” Pat Smith is returning to Birmingham to host a sports-talk radio show for new sports talker 99.1 FM The Game.
Beginning Monday, Smith will team up with Scott Griffin on the “Smashmouth Radio” morning show. The show debuted last month.
In addition to hosting the show, Smith will serve as the radio station’s program director.
Smith worked with Finebaum for 21 years, and played a key role in helping develop the Paul Finebaum Radio Network which grew from a local program into a syndicated show that aired throughout the Southeast and on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

Jason also worked on-air and behind the scenes in local radio at 101.5 WPDH, WTBQ 1110AM, and WPYX 106.5. He also spent two years on the national stage, producing radio shows for ESPN Radio in Bristol, CT. Among them included the Dan Patrick Show, and GameNight.
