Amber Wilson Agrees to New Deal With 790 The Ticket

790 The Ticket in Miami has retained one of its best local talents. The Miami sports station has announced a multiyear contract extension has been agreed to by midday host Amber Wilson. Wilson will continue as co-host of “Zaslow & Amber” alongside Jonathan Zaslow, weekdays from 10a-2p ET.

“Amber is a true sports talk talent with incredible knowledge and a witty personality,” said Keriann Worley, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom South Florida. “Her hard work and preparation have made a tremendous impact on the success of the show and we’re excited Amber will remain a part of the team.”

“I’m very fortunate to have a job that I enjoy doing every single day and I’m thrilled to be continuing my career at Entercom,” said Wilson. “It is an honor that Len Weiner [Program Director, AM 790 The Ticket] and Keriann Worley continue to trust me to entertain South Florida with sports talk.”

Wilson joined The Ticket as an on-air host in 2016. She took over for Joy Taylor who left to join FOX Sports 1 initially working in morning drive before the station made programming changes in August. Her prior experience includes hosting roles with CBS television in Miami and SNY in New York.
