A New Jersey radio host told CNN that some of his listeners have been attacking him for reporting the truth about COVID-19. Jeff Deminski, co-hosts Deminski & Doyle on New Jersey’s 101.5 FM.
“I think this really started with President Trump declaring this a Democratic hoax and it just filtered on down from there,” Deminski said. “Anything seems to pass for news today.”
Over the weekend, New Jersey reported more than 6,000 positive coronavirus cases, the highest number of positive tests since the outbreak started in March. The state also reported another 16 deaths. The results come as the state saw a record number of positive cases last Thursday and Friday, respectively.
Deminski said in response to the negative feedback from listeners, he will continue to report facts. “If people are going to continue to discount my medical experts like Dr. Faucci and go instead for a guy that has been discredited by the FDA like Dr. Mercola there is nothing much I can do about it.”
