Prominent attorney Lin Wood, an avid Trump supporter, is raising eyebrows with some of the messages he is sending out on Parler. Wood moved to the platform after Twitter permanently banned his account last week.
“Get the firing squads ready. Pence goes FIRST,” Wood wrote on Parler early Thursday morning. “I heard that Mike Pence is trying to figure out a way to become President,” Wood wrote on the platform Friday.
The Pence firing squad comment no longer appears on Wood’s Parler account. Parler has a significant user base of President Trump’s supporters, conservatives, and some right-wing extremists.
Wood also “parleyed” that Ashli Babbitt, the woman that was shot to death by Capitol Police, is still alive.
Parler does have rules. And it appears that some of Wood’s posts have broken community guidelines. It is unclear if Wood’s account would suffer any consequences for some of the things he has said.
