Barrett Sports Media has learned that 95.7 The Game has lost a third of its morning show. Kate Scott has left the San Francisco show ‘The Morning Roast’ less than a year after joining the station.
According to sources, Scott’s play-by-play schedule has increased to the point that she couldn’t do the morning show five days a week. Most recently, Scott covered Olympic Basketball for NBC and called action in Copá America for FOX. She is preparing to join Mike Golic in the booth for Learfield’s nationally syndicated radio call of college football games.
Bonta Hill and Joe Shasky remain with The Game. The morning show has been rebranded The Morning Roast with Bonta & Joe. The show was assembled in September of last year when Joe Fortenbaugh’s exit forced 95.7 The Game to revamp its lineup.
Scott is still listing the station on her social media pages, so although she’s left morning drive, it’s possible she will still make part time appearances on the station in the future.
