MASN is the latest regional sports network to turn to VSiN for help with sports betting programming. The network will air Follow The Money weekday mornings from 7 until 10 am. It will also air the weekend edition of The Lombardi Line every Saturday and Sunday.
The Mid Atlantic Sports Network is home to both the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals. It has a footprint that stretches from Harrisburg, PA to Charlotte, NC. That puts it in 75 million households.
Markets in Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia all have access to MASN. Those states have all moved to legalize gambling, making a partnership with VSiN a strategic necessity.
“Regulated sports betting has been thriving in dozens of states, including many throughout our region, and has proven to increase fan engagement and enhance the fan experience. We look forward to launching our new programming partnership with VSiN,” John McGuinness, MASN’s SVP, said in a press release.
The Lombardi Line is perfectly designed for the football season. On Saturdays, the show will air at 11 am, one hour before the first wave of college football games kickoff. On Sundays, it will air at 10 am ahead of the day’s NFL action.
“VSiN’s content deal with MASN provides an amazing opportunity to not only expand our distribution footprint but also to connect with a growing sports betting audience,” said Brian Musburger, founder and CEO of VSiN. “With the football season in full swing and hockey and basketball seasons getting started, we’re thrilled to provide the mid-Atlantic region with the insights and analysis they can use to make more informed wagering decisions as legalized sports betting continues to take off across the country.”
