KBOI Now Available on AM and FM

670 KBOI has expanded on to the FM dial.

The Cumulus owned and operated Boise brand, which features ‘Kasper and Chris’ in the morning, and Nate Shelman in the afternoon has begun offering its programming on 93.1 FM in addition to 670 AM.

In a story on CBS2‘s website, Shelman explained how the FM addition will better serve local listeners.

“We have the ability to offer additional content without interrupting regular programming,” said Shelman. “Certain sporting events, live press conferences, election coverage etc. KBOI will be able to offer a broader base of content.”

By adding an FM signal to air its content, listeners will now be able to hear the station’s full lineup, as well as Boise State football. Men’s and women’s basketball games are expected to continue airing on 670 AM.

KBOI has been a dominant ratings winner in the market for decades, featuring a mix of news and right-leaning talk. Additional shosts heard on the station include Dan Bongino, Ben Shapiro, Mark Levin, and Michael Knowles. All are distributed nationally by Westwood One.
