Peyton Manning is expanding his Places brand of series. First, the Hall of Famer took a look at NFL history with Peyton’s Places. Last year, his brother Eli was at the center of Eli’s Places, which put the focus on college football. Now Ronda Rousey is joining the family.
Rowdy’s Places is Omaha Productions’ latest ESPN+ series. It will feature Rousey visiting the people and places that took MMA from a niche sport to the behemoth it is today.
The first six episodes are streaming now on ESPN+ and feature some big name guests. There are the MMA legends you expect like Dana White and the Gracie family. People from other sports make appearances as well to discuss the influence fight culture has had on athletes across many disciplines including. Those names include Tie Domi, Kurt Angle, and Larry Holmes.
“Combat sports athletes and fans are some of the most passionate in the world, and competitive fighting has a rich history,” Ronda Rousey said in a press release. “I’m eager to take the reins from Peyton and use the Places playbook to bring some incredible stories about the sports I love to audiences.”
