Age ain’t nothing but a number in Philadelphia. The Eagles have announced that they are sticking with 79-year-old Merrill Reese as the play-by-play voice of the team. The two sides have agreed to a multi-year contract extension.
Reese made the announcement on Wednesday morning at the 2022 Birds Town Hall, which was hosted by Angelo Cataldi and aired on 94 WIP.
“I will never willingly retire,” he said. “They will have to remove me with a crane because this is what I love doing more than anything else in the world.”
