Olin Kreutz Reportedly Assaulted Adam Hoge During CHGO Staff Meeting

Jeff Agrest of the Chicago Sun-Times has more details on what lead to Olin Kreutz being fired by digital media start up CHGO. The former Chicago Bear attacked colleague Adam Hoge during a staff meeting.

Hoge reportedly made a “flippant remark” that upset Kreutz and Kreutz responded by grabbing Hoge by the neck. Hoge was not hurt and did not file a police report.

Jeff Agrest reached out to a number of different outlets for comment. Given his rising star in the media industry, there are a number of outlets that may be trying to determine if they want to keep doing business with Olin Kreutz.

Mitch Rosen of 670 The Score and Kreutz’s agent Steve Mandell both declined to comment. Kevin Cross, the president and general manager of NBC 5, Telemundo Chicago and NBC Sports Chicago, where Kreutz makes regular appearances as a Bears analyst, told Agrest that the network is aware of the report and is looking into it.
