Lisa Salters Signs Multi-Year Extension With ESPN

The booth may have changed, but the face on the sidelines for Monday Night Football will remain a constant for the foreseeable future. Lisa Salters has a new deal with ESPN.

Salters’ multi-year extension will see her remain as one of the network’s top reporters. In addition to working the NFL sidelines on Monday nights, she is also the reporter on ABC/ESPN’s top NBA broadcast team and is preparing to start work on the 2022 NBA Finals.

ESPN has been in business with Lisa Salters for the last 22 years. She came to the network as a reporter in 2000.

Her work on Monday Night Football began in 2012. Last year, the network celebrated a milestone for the broadcast, as Lisa Salters became the longest-tenured sideline reporter in MNF history.

“When I first got the call to do Monday Night Football, I would have never thought that 10 years later I would still be doing it,” Salters said at the time.

No one has seen as much change on Mondays as Lisa Salters has. When the 2022 season begins, she will be working Troy Aikman and Joe Buck. They will be the 11th and 12th different broadcasters she has partnered with on the broadcast.
