There’s a brand new member of the 97.1 The Fan team in Columbus, Ohio and it’s Austin Ward.
Ward officially joins the station on what was a particularly explosive college football news day. Especially in Big Ten country.
The station tweeted the news: “Very excited to announce a BOOM of our own… @AWardSports is now a part of the team here at the Fan, and we’re putting him to work right away! Tons of info from him tonight and tomorrow about the new developments with USC/UCLA joining the Big Ten”.
Ward is already hard at work inside the walls of Ohio State getting reaction to the massive summer news.
Ward tweeted his excitement: “Pumped to be joining the family at @971thefan to help cover the Buckeyes and my favorite sports city in the world. NYPOTHETICALLY if there is news tonight, we’re going to be talking about it here”.
